Level 1: For entry-level staff

From the organization that sets the auditing standards for private companies, this innovative 32 CPE credit training program provides step-by-step guidance on every aspect of an audit engagement, providing the strong conceptual knowledge and hands-on skillset you need to excel during your first two years of audit work. The blended learning format provides online self-paced training in the core concepts of audit work, followed by a two-day live boot camp in the practical application of the concepts.

First, complete online pre-work on core concepts. (14 CPE credits)

Here's where it all starts: a strong conceptual groundwork where you can build all future audit learning. The online pre-work preps you for understanding the fundamental principles behind an audit engagement. Learn more at Audit Staff Essentials: Core Concepts.

Next, attend a 3-day live event on practical application (18 CPE credits)

This dynamic live event features instructor guided discussions and application exercises covering the practical application of the concepts covered in the pre-learning. You will gain skills related to the audit process, including practical, hands-on training for internal controls, substantive testing, fraud considerations, analytical procedures, and much more. Designed to focus on real-world issues and solutions, this course will help you increase accuracy and efficiency, and build a solid foundation of knowledge to serve you throughout your career.

With a maximum 20-seat capacity, this event gives you the advantage of sharing thoughts and challenges with speakers and colleagues in a small group setting. You’ll walk away with new skills and expertise, giving you the knowledge and confidence you need to excel in those first challenging years at your firm.
