The CGMA designation elevates the profession of management accounting and showcases your value around the world. To obtain the CGMA designation through the AICPA, qualified candidates must pass the CGMA exam, meet the experience requirements and be a member of AICPA.

The CGMA exam is an integrated, comprehensive strategic case study that assesses the competencies required in today’s business environment. Candidates are required to apply theoretical and practical knowledge to a real-world scenario in order to demonstrate their ability to guide business decisions.

During the three-hour exam, candidates wil be presented with multiple tasks related to the business case. Along with the tasks, new information will change the business scenario and require candidates to adapt their answers. This will require a knowledge of strategic financial management, business strategy, and enterprise risk management. It will also require the need to demonstrate business judgement, people skills and finance leadership skills. Overall, the exam will test one’s ability to rise to the position of CFO.

The course instructor will lead participants through an in-depth analysis of the pre-seen material, along with tasks and mock exam scenarios designed to test candidates’ readiness to sit for the exam. Through facilitated discussion, attendees will benefit from a variety of diverse perspectives and collective experience in addressing the problems and tasks. This will challenge participants’ assumptions on the role of finance leadership in today’s business organization.

All discussions and tasks will be based on the case study pre-seen material in order to stay focused on passing the CGMA exam. Simulated, time-constrained exam tasks will be graded and returned for discussion during the course.

The CGMA Exam Live Review Course is designed to teach:
